Lily has started fast pitch softball. There are only 2 of them that are going into 2nd grade and the rest of the girls are older. Lily is learning a lot! We will be going to many small towns to watch her. These are the same towns I travelled to when I was in softball. Shelton, Gibbon, Cairo, Loup City, Ravenna, St. Paul.
Her first game was in Shelton (my old home field!) So fun to watch my daughter play on the same field as I did. :)
They lost, but she had fun!
Grandpa and Grandma came to the game and then took us out to eat at the Motor Inn. Isn't she a cute baller?!? :)
We took this to send a pic to Daddy. He was in North Dakota for her first two games.
On Wednesday her game was in Doniphan.
It was chilly out!
It is more difficult to bat against the pitcher. If the pitcher throws 4 balls, then the coach comes out and can pitch 5 pitches. Lily is more confident with her coach pitching, but she will get the hang of it.
Running to first.
The Doniphan girls like to run the bases when the game is over. Its usually if they win, but they do it regardless. ha ha! They lost to the other Doniphan team. :(
