Home Husker game!

It worked out for us to get 2 tickets to the first Husker game!  I was excited, because I just love love love the atmosphere at a home game!  The rest of my family was going to be in Lincoln too!  We brought our camper to a parking lot by the Saltdogs stadium.  It was nice to be in walking distance and to know we didn't have to rush home.  We walked and rolled Hudson's stroller to John and Laurie's condo.

They liked hanging out on the small patio.  They yelled "Gooooo Biiiiiig Reeeeeed!" and the people below them on the street would return their chant.

Putting on tattoos!

All of us!!!
It is so fun to have us all together.

Someone joked about tilting our heads and sure enough, they did it.  Silly people.  John and I didn't participate.  ha ha!

Go Huskers!

We all hung out for a little while and then headed to the game.  Grandma stayed with the 5 youngest.  They went to the Children's Museum.

First Touchdown!!!

Great time!

We left the game a little early because we were soooooo hot in the South stadium.  We went to a bar and watched it with air conditioning.  We contacted Erin and Zach and they were able to meet us there for a couple.  What a great end to a win!

We got the kids at the condo and started our walk back to the camper.  We found an awesome picture opportunity on the bridge with the stadium behind us.

Hudson wasn't too thrilled that weekend.  He had hurt his left arm when he was playing with Uncle John.  He just stopped using it.  In the morning, he was still not using it.  24 hours later, we decided, uh yeah, we need to go to the Dr.

They x-rayed it and they didn't see anything.  They suggested a brace until it became stronger.  They thought it was a sprain.  Geez, two kids.....two sprains.  Yikes!
