Husker football tailgate

Matt and I were excited to tailgate in Lincoln with our camper.  Well, it didn't work out much like we wanted.  So, we looked at camper spots close by and found a perfect location at Hall County Park.

We were able to get an end spot next to the walking trail.  The kids had plenty of room to play and we were in a spot where we couldn't hear other people. :)  We definitely will try for that spot again!

We invited some friends over too!

We brought some bikes and scooters and so did some of the other kids.  It was perfect!

Some of my peeps!

Nice friendly game of football!

We got the glow sticks out!

Everyone left and we invited Jadyn to have a sleepover in the camper.  I didn't get any pictures because we just went to sleep.  In the morning, John came to get her and we ate breakfast.

Hudson was OBVIOUSLY allergic to something in the grass!!!!

My poor boy.  No one else got bites.  This kid, what are we going to do with him?  :)

Stuff

Pictures in October.  Yes, I know....it is December and 2015 is almost over.  I LOVE my blog, but have not made time for it lately.  Sorry for all my fans that look at it daily.  ha ha!

Enjoying supper with J, L, M, M at BWWs

My sporty girl

My messy boy

Matt started his deer stand.

They get into Lego kicks.  Once they are put together, Lily does not like to take them apart.

Baasch's came to Tiffs for supper.

I spent 3 days out of my classroom for Language Arts meetings.  Not much fun, but we did get a lot done.

Its hard to understand, but we get it.

Ready to go see Grandpa and Uncle John.

Learning how to cut.

Lily and Hudson got to ride with Grandpa.

We then went to Grandma's flip house in Gibbon.  The kids had fun playing in the dirt with Maguire.

Don't worry I will have a lot of random posts this Holiday break. :)

Market to Market Relay

My new friend Jody had asked me to be apart of her M2M relay team in July and I jumped to the opportunity.  I had heard about it from many people and knew it was hard to get a team.  She was the captain and signed me up for the 2nd runner.  I would be running three legs.

I was nervous but after I ran the half marathon I was more confident in my ability to run 11.7 in a day.  I was worried about starting and stopping three different times and knowing what to eat and drink in between.

I rode with Jody and a few other girls that I had never met to Lincoln.  Of our eight, I only knew Jody and Courtney.  :)  We went out to eat on Friday night and only had one drink.  ha ha!  :)

Our team name was "Scrabbled Legs".  So, Jody, Courtney, and I created scrabble letters out of cardboard.  Then we mix matched tall socks for "SCRABBLED LEGS" look!  :)

Our first runner started around 7:00am.  The whole relay started around 5:00am, so we were constantly with different teams in front of us and behind us!  It was such a fun atmosphere.

Jody was first

Too early and cold!  ha ha

Oh yea!

Go Jody!

This is our vehicle!  Snug and warm.  I am runner two!  Yikes!

I don't know what message we spelled for Jody coming in.  :(  We waited by the relay switch and spelled out a message for each of our runners.  The other teams were curious what we spelled out.  It was fun to switch it up and get a reaction from some people. :)

When I came in after my 5.1, this was the message they had for me. :)

I probably have the other pictures out of order, but here you go!

These aren't any of our runners, but I wanted to capture some of the route.

We were waiting for Courtney to come in.  It was kinda cold, but the cool socks helped!

Courtney.  She said her run was very pretty.

Jody came in to me and she just finished an AWFUL hill.  Nice message!

I'm next.  Ready for my 2nd leg of 3.6 miles.  Some of the really fast runners that were competing to win the whole thing were passing me.  Wow, I thought I was doing good, but they are REALLY good. :)

I ended in a small town with this message! :)

I loved the feeling when I was done!!!  Only one more leg left for me!

We couldn't really keep up with the Husker game, but this was right after they had scored.

Dramatic!

This got some laughs from people.  :)

We did this message for Jody because we always seemed to mess up her message somehow.  So, this time we did it on purpose!  ha ha.

It was after 6:00pm, so I had to put on my reflective gear.  Good thing, because the end of my run was pretty dark.  This run was on a bike trail through Lincoln.  3.0 miles!

This was my message!  :)

I am done!

Waiting for Becky at the Pinnacle.  We took up our scrabble letters and spelled Scrabbled Legs for the finish.

We finished!!!!!  :)  It was around 7:00 pm

This organization is important to Courtney and they sponsored the M2M.

Such a fun time!!!!!

I ran 3 legs totaling 11.7 miles of the 76.3 mile relay.  My pace was 8:15.  I am surprised I was able to average that time.  I guess the sitting in the suburban didn't bother my knees.  I am excited to do it again next year!  :)  Thank you Jody for asking me to be apart of your team.
