HALLOWEEN!

We were so excited at our house for a long time to be Tinkerbell!!! And boy was she an adorable Tinkerbell!!!

Off to Trick or Treat at Grandma and Grandpa's!!

I love this picture!

Guire and Mav were there and waited for us to get there so they could see the beautiful Tinkerbell!

Aunt Laurie got to see her too!!!

Tuckered out! She knew she was going to have a long night ahead of her.

Poor little Tinkerbell was chilly, but Mommy needed pictures! She was shivering, but she looked so darn cute!

Rylen the monkey came to Trick or Treat at our house.

We went to GI to Trick or Treat first and we were there too long and didn't get to go to any Doniphan homes. Maybe next year!

We visited the Dudos, Runcies, Barnetts, and Starostkas.

Oh my, there is another Tinkerbell!!! Jadyn is one of Lily's favs! She talks about her often. Jadyn is so much fun!

I like this picture too! It will be a lot of fun to watch these two girls grow up together. We might have our hands full!

We ended our night at Starostkas. It has been kinda a tradition. ha ha! The Baasch's showed up again too, so it was hard to say goodbye. By that time, Lily had so much sugar, she helped Chris answer the door, spinning circles, hugging Dave, running around the fireplace, and more. Boy oh boy, what sugar will do to a little girl!

Halloween was a hit this year!

Fun with Family

October 23rd I had my ML masters class in Fremont. Matt is so thoughtful and asked if him and Lily could come with me. So, we drove up to Omaha on Friday and stayed at a hotel. I left in the morning for my class while Matt and Lily stayed and went swimming.

They also went shopping (for a long time, Matt would say). When I was done with class I picked them up and we went to Scott and Eliza's. The Husker game was calling our name! :)

Best Friends!

Gig and I

The men behind all the great women! :)

Caden is so full of energy! Uncle Matt likes keeping him entertained and coming back for more!

Aunt Liza with Delanie and Lily. Beautiful!

How did Aunt Liza get so lucky!?

I love this picture. Every family should have an Aunt Gigi!

Working on their dance moves.

Well, we hadn't planned on staying the night at the Ferzely house, but it worked out that way. Some other Widdowson family members came over for the evening. Uncle Russ, Aunt Karen and the girls had been in town for a band competition, so they stopped by.

Harvest Time!

We love to go ride with Grandpa in the combine! He had a good Fall to pick his crop. The weather has been absolutely beautiful.

Lily was full of questions for Grandpa this year.
"Where is the corn going?"
"Why is Gigi pulling that (grain cart)?"
"Why, why, why?"
"What, what, what?"

I thought of posting some old pictures of Lily with Grandpa in the combine or tractor. I am sure we will have many more photos to come!

Look at those cheeks.
About 6 months

Almost one year old!

Almost 2

Pumpkin Patch

On October 8th we went to a Pumpkin Patch outside of Hastings. We got there a little later than we would have liked, so we weren't there very long. Lily still had a great time and so did we.

Instantly, Lily was running ahead of us shouting, "I like this, I want to do this, Pumpkins, Mommy, Daddy, come on!" I love watching her get so excited over things. She is so appreciative and full of life!!!

The big potato sack slide!!

She is already off and running to go back up the hill to go on it again!!!

We then went down the zip line. She yelled (with glee) the whole way down.

Lily has become more brave as she gets older. We were very surprised she wanted to jump into the straw.

She did it!!! It wasn't her favorite thing to do, but we were very proud of her for trying.

Goats!

Nothing is more precious than watching Daddy holding his little girl's hand.

"Neigh!" "Moo!"

It was getting dark and they were kicking us out! We had a wonderful time!

Doniphan Fall Festival

The perks of living in a small town: Small town festivities. We went to the town parade that morning and Lily had a great time. At first she was cold and nervous to get in front of people and get candy. By the end of the parade, she was running out and giggling when she got a handful of candy.

It was nice to be able to walk to the parade and be so close to home.

Fire trucks always bring back memories for me! I will never tell Lily to ride in a fire truck at a parade! Nothing but bad would happen. ha ha!

Where are the smiles?

Noodercycles!!

That is what Lily calls them. We love to hear her say some of her words incorrectly and this is one of them. For the small town, there were actually a lot of noodercycles!

Daddy got a free ride back home.

Playing with the Elsbury's

I am desperate need of time to catch up on my blogging! Holy cow, I am going way back to September. I really enjoy blogging and updating everyone on what is happening with us. Life has seemed to take over and not dealt me much time. Urgh! So, here it goes!

Aunt Chantele with her two favorites!!! We went to Atkinson to Wonderchecks for a picnic/get together for the football game. They had karoake afterwards in the shed. We got to see a lot of the Elsburys we hadn't seen in awhile.

Chillin' out in their jammies.

It was so nice out. We played outside for most of the afternoon.

Who would have guessed that a gravel pile would be so much fun?!?

Grandpa Mark was so excited to help the kids roast marshmallows. It was a hit!

A hit for all!!!

Ahhh, Lily you have a little something, right ......... there!
