Newell Christmas Party!

We had our Newell Christmas party the beginning of December at Erin's house.  We had a great time!  Matt and I were late, so we weren't able to eat there.  We did partake in Bunco!  :)

The ladies of Newell.

The ladies and Clint and Andrew.
What a fun group of people to work with!

Check out the Bunco tables!

I finally made it up to the head table! :)

Oh Clint....

That's better!

We made it to the head table again!!!  We actually won one game! :)

I must have been in the selfie mood! :)

December stuff! :)

We got Oasis some lollipop dog treats for her birthday, December 3rd!

It was so fun to watch her with the lollipop.  She threw it up and then played with it.  She ran around the yard, jumped, and even snorted.  So cute!

Hudson had started to really enjoy coloring.  Lily has always loved coloring!

Mommy can get stuff done while they play together. :)

Lily danced the half time of the girls basketball game.  Great job Lily!

One of the countdown bags said "Let's make cookies!"  So, they helped me make sugar cookies with sprinkles.

Hudson has not been able to show the number 2 on his fingers.  He always says "I can't."  The other day, I asked him and it took him awhile, but he puts all his fingers up and then grabs the 2 little fingers and pulls them down.  He puts his thumb on top of it so they stay.  Then we got the number 2!!!  Yay!!!

The got a little ping pong set in the countdown.  It is comical to watch them play.  Hudson doesn't understand and Lily gets frustrated, but she can't hit it either.  ha ha!

I am really trying to catch up on the blog before 2014 is over.  I feel like the days are going so fast!  I can't believe there are only 8 days until Christmas!  I am sooo excited to go to Phoenix with my family.  I hope the weather is nice.  :)

Decorating for Christmas

We got our real tree on our way home from O'Neill.  I love decorating for Christmas!  It is amazing how many decorations you accumulate through out the years.  I think I buy something new every year. :)  The kids were very excited to help.

We each picked out our first ornament for the tree.

I picked the ornament I got from North Carolina (Mary,  Joseph, and Jesus), Matt picked the Moose family with all our names on it. :)

Daddy bought goose decoys.  The kids had more fun with the box!

Hudson was pretty tired after the big weekend!

November 30th is pretty exciting, because Eddie comes on December 1st!!!!!  We read the book to remind them about the rules of Eddie.  They were so excited for him!

In the morning, they found Eddie riding Carl the Goose. :)

Countdown is on!!!

24 days until Christmas...First gift, tape measure gum. :)

When it was a little nicer, Matt and Lily hung up the lights outside.

Christmas here we come!

Thanksgiving 2014

We went to Scott and Eliza's for Thanksgiving.  Everyone was actually able to come.  The meal was delicious and the company was great!  We set up a ping pong tournament.  Delanie beat me with her amazing serve (later we found out it was illegal, but who cares!).

Other people's toys are more fun!

So cute!

The championship game. :)

There is always wrestling when we are all together.

On Friday morning, Virgie and I went Black Friday shopping.  We got some good deals, but it was just fun to hang out with each other.

Wrestling during the football game.  Amazingly, they won!!!!  I went for a run that afternoon for the first time in weeks.  I really do miss it!  The kids went to "Defy Gravity" and Lily hurt her ankle again. :(  I don't think she will be allowed to jump ever again!  ha ha

We then drove to O'Neill on Friday.

I couldn't get a good picture while driving....but the sunset was awesome!

On Saturday, Jessica and her family came.  It was nice to see them and be with Mark and Jackie.  The weather was beautiful.  No coats!

Hudson loved being around them while they were shooting.

He was so curious and wanted to pull the rope too.

Here, he pulled the string for Grandpa Mark.

3 Generations!
What a neat tradition to have.  They all enjoy shooting and the guns are actually Matt's Grandpa Ray's guns.  Just think if he could have shot with them too!

My turn...I actually got 3 out of 3 on my 2nd turn.
Hudson would pull the rope when we said "Pull!"  It worked out pretty good! :)

Braxton, Hud, and I with Landon in the background! :)

Soooo, tired!

Us adults played a dice game while the kids slept.  Pretty soon I look over and Hudson had rolled off the chair onto the floor.  It didn't even phase him.  ha ha!

The next day it was actually chilly!  It put us into the Christmas spirit.  We stopped on our way home and got our Christmas tree! :)
