On July 3rd, we went to the Starostka lake. Many of them were there and so were our friends that Matt works with that have kids too. We brought our camper and parked at a campground really close to the lake. It actually worked out really well because we didn't have to leave early to get the kids home for bed. :)

My friend, Amy, took this short video to capture the fun at the lake. We had a good time!
Later, we set up a spot on the beach to watch the Kearney fireworks. We had a pretty good view. Matt likes that we wouldn't waiting in the parking lot to leave afterwards.

I am the only one that can manage to keep my eyes open. It looks like Hudson is giving a hand signal, but he too just thinks it was too bright!

They had Stan the one man band out there to play. Lily could have went to sleep watching him after the fireworks. We then went on our short Polaris ride to the camper. :)
Again it was nice to see all the Starostkas and our friends. Thanks for having us out!
