On a random Sunday afternoon, Matt had an idea of grilling on the river. I thought that would be fun.....it turns out our neighbors weren't busy either. We all packed up a quick supper and left in 2 Jeeps and a mini van. :) The Yost family piled into our Jeeps and we found a sandbar.

Getting ready to eat. At the end of the meal, there was sand everywhere. Hudson ate a lot of it! Every time he dropped a Cheeto, he would pick it up and eat it...sand and all.

Rachel, Hudson, and I. We had a nice relaxing ride. Josh's Jeep had the loud older kids in it. Us Mommies and Matt were good!

It's not too fun getting stuck, but I think Matt was secretly hoping Josh would. Matt just got a winch, so he wanted to use it. It worked great!
Our family headed home! What a great spontaneous evening on the river with the neighbors!
