Family Fun

Matt had left on Tuesday morning for Bowling Green, Missouri. He was going to work on a job with Brett and wouldn't be back until this Tuesday. So, Lily and I took some opportunities to see family. On Thursday, we went to Gma and Papa's. We hung out with them and stayed the night. Lily definitely loves Papa, everything she did, she yelled "Papa," so that he would watch. Grandpa took us to Arlene's for breakfast the next day. Then we went to Kearney for some shopping and to go eat with Grandma and her work friends. Next we went to Aunt Kathy and Uncle Jim's to see their dining room. Mom has been helping them with paint and redecorating. It looks great. Lucky for us, Grandma then took us for a pedicure. Lily sat on my lap the whole time. The lady was so nice, that she gave Lily a miniature pedicure. Finally, we headed back to GI only to come back the next day to see the Ferzely's!

The new plan was to eat at Mom and Dad's then we would head to Lodgepole. So, Lily and I packed our bags and headed out.

We had a wonderful afternoon playing with the kids. Everyone is getting so big.

Lily and Sydney absolutely loved the tire swing. Aren't they cute?!?

Good job Syd!

Lily learned the word "cheese" for when we take pictures! It seems like just yesterday that Laney was this big. Now she is a BIG FIRST GRADER!!!

These two girls are going to get in a lot of trouble together. :)

We finally left for Lodgepole! It was nice to see the Widdowson bunch. We ate supper and then a few of us went to Chappell for the street dance. Maverick was in charge of the babies. I think he does a pretty good job with them. Gma and Papa were there too!! :)

Eliza, Scott, John, Laurie, and I had a lot of fun at the street dance. I hadn't been to a street dance in a few years. I wish Matt could have been there.

On Sunday, we relaxed in the morning and then helped Laurie clean out her garage to help her get ready for her garage sale in a few weeks. It was d i r t y! Lily was a ball of dirt by the time we were done.

Guire was excited to go fishing and Lily was quite interested in everything the boys were doing. It did not bother her to be walking barefoot on the yucky floor and then sit on it.

Lily would not leave the little motorcycle alone. Guire thought it would be funny to put the helmet on her. She couldn't lift it up on her own.

When Dad and John came back from looking at the cows, Lily couldn't wait to be held by Grandpa. He almost had her asleep. She had played so hard and was so filthy. On Laurie and I's last load into town with her garage sale treasures, Lily fell asleep while the boys and Grandma were fishing.

"These Widdowson's tire me out!!!"

Our last trip was to Arthur to see the newest edition to the Sandpoint Ranch. It was a long drive and Lily slept the whole way. Mom and I could not find John and Dad. We were starting to get worried because we didn't have cell phone service and we didn't want to leave with out Dad. Finally we found them and saw John's headquarters. There is so much grass up there. Its miles and miles of hills. We headed home and were in a thunderstorm most of the way. To top off the long drive, we were getting hungry and there weren't many big towns that would have restaurants. So, we ate ice cream for supper. About an hour of eating her strawberry shake, Lily started throwing up. She managed to be covered from head to toe. As it was raining, we cleaned her up and Mom helped me out a ton by cleaning her carseat. I just absolutely hate watching Lily get sick. There was nothing I could do and I don't know what caused it. Finally we got back in the car (a little stinky I might add) and headed home. We got to Mom and Dad's around 11. Our adventure was over and Lily and I came back to GI in the morning.
