Beckett ~ 2 months old ~

Beckett....oh our sweet sweet Beckett.

He is a wonderful baby.
He is focusing on us more when we talk to him.  He tries to make sounds back to us.
He is drooling more.  :)
He has the cutest smile and sometimes shows his tongue in his smile.
He gets up for the first time anywhere between 4-6am.  Great, I know.
I have been putting him down for naps once and sometimes twice a day in his crib.  He does alright if he is already sleeping.
He still likes the fans and is liking the mirror above his swing.
He likes the changing table for the most part.
He likes his bath if he is well fed beforehand.  ha ha
He still keeps his hands up by his neck when eating and sometimes sleeping.
He has noticed his feet.

I could not get him to smile while sitting in this chair.  Little stinker.  He has been so smiley lately, so I thought these would be great.  He had a different idea.

He kept seeing his toes move.  It was hard for me to get him to look at me.

See, those toes are too darn cool!!!!  He has also started sticking out his tongue more.

He had his 2 month appointment the day after his "2 month birthday," so his actual weight and measurements are:
11 lbs. .5 oz  - 40th percentile
23.5 in. - 75th percentile

So, we have a tall and skinny little man.  She wasn't worried because since he is sleeping through the night, he is obviously getting what he needs.  She said he grew, so we know he is getting nutrients.  He received 3 shots and one oral vaccination.  He definitely screamed, but nothing a pinky and mommy snuggles couldn't help.  I hate watching my babies get shots.  He goes to the doctor again at 4 months.

2 days old

(11.05 lbs. & 23.5 in.)

Lily's first Volleyball game

Lily is on a YMCA volleyball team that is made up of just 3rd graders.  We tried to set up a Doniphan only team, but we have 9 Doniphan girls and 2 Adam Central.  They will have practices on Thursdays and games on Sundays in Hastings.  We loved watching her play.  It doesn't get too exciting at this age.  Lily knew how to rotate, did well bumping it back over a couple times, and got over a few serves.  :)

Her arm just wasn't long enough.  :)

Working on calling the ball.

Hudson is on 2 wheels!!!

Hudson has been on his Strider so much lately that I just knew he would do great on his big bike with out training wheels.  Well, he was awesome!  We practiced one evening with Daddy and he did well.  Starting was a little hard though.  So, him and I went to get Lily the next day from school and he rode the WHOLE way!

This is a video, but it wouldn't load.

Way to go Buddy!

Lily and Hud.

The Leth girls and Lily ride home from school together.  Hudson is leading them all!  :)

When we got home, the kids were hot, tired, but happy!

He always stretches with his arms up.  I love it...he also shakes his fists a little.  Adorable!

So, Hudson is a little dare devil, so he is already going fast and racing on his bike and taking it on the ramp.  What a kid!

Baby Porter Leth

Our neighbors Josh and Holly Leth welcomed their sweet baby boy, Porter Jack Leth, on September 12th.  We went over to visit them on the day they came home (13th).

Beckett and Porter - 7 weeks difference.

Morgan and Lily held each other's brothers.

Welcome to the neighborhood Porter.  I'm sure you and Beckett will have a lot of fun together.  :)

Tailgate #2 (Wyoming) and #3 (Oregon)

The Wyoming game was at 11:00am.  Matt and Hudson went the night before while Beckett and I stayed at home because Lily had a sleepover at Aysha's.

I got some good snuggles! :)

Tired after a birthday party sleepover.  They made the tie-dye pillows at the party.  Neat idea, huh?!

Lily's favorite part of the tailgates.  She gets to play with Syd!

Delanie and Beckett's favorite part!  :)

Grandma and Grandpa Elsbury came too.  Aunt Deb and Uncle Frank came with them.

Beckett gets held a lot at the tailgates, which he loves!  We let him kick in the middle of all the camping chairs during the game.  He loved it!

Playing bags and Hud on his strider.  He is everywhere on that thing and the girls ride their scooters.

We won 52-17

September 10th
This game was at 2:30 against Oregon.  It was predicted to be a BIG game.  We came the night before and slept in the camper.  Good thing our kids sleep good in the camper.

The boys both came and joined me in bed.  :)

Lily, the Beckett whisperer.  Lol

While we got things ready for our friends and family, I put Beckett down for his nap.  So sweet.  He only woke up because Grandma Nancy just HAD to hold him.  ha ha!

We were celebrating Sydney's 9th birthday after this game, so the whole family was there.  Fun!

Hud loves Beckett, but he REALLY loves him when other people are holding him or loving on him.

The boys had a short game of football.  The Baasch's were there too.  It was Brady's birthday and that was their gift to him.

Hudson absolutely loves playing with the big boys.

Stretching out again with Aunt Gigi.

He was really sleepy.

We won this game too!
It was a nail biter at times.  We won 35-32.
Everyone came back after the game for supper and to celebrate Syd!
I made French Dips and they were great.  So easy.  I am definitely making them again.

Happy Birthdy Sydy Lynn.

The boys were feeling good after the win.  :)

Since we were all there, we wanted a picture.  Beau came back and took our picture.

I love all the smiles and laughter

What a great time.

We are enjoying our tailgate spot.  We will be there again on the 1st!  :)  Come on over...the more the merrier.
GO BIG RED!
