This weekend, we went on our very FIRST camping trip in the camper. We all had been anxiously waiting for the weekend. I was worried about the weather, but we were going to go anyway. :) We went to Mormon Island (right by the interstate). So, it wasn't too far, but it was still camping! :)
We played outside and Matt grilled hamburgers and hotdogs. It was a tad chilly, but not too bad. There were actually quite a few campers out there. I was surprised. Then our neighbors came out to see us. They have a camper too, but Holly and Josh's baby is due the 10th, so they weren't ready to go camping yet. :)
They found a hill!
We attempted to all lay down, which didn't work right away.
Hudson kept calling out our names, and this is what we saw. We got a baby gate to block off his bottom bunk. I was not ready to give him freedom yet. ha ha! So the two of them came and laid with us for a little bit until we decided to try it again. We all fell asleep pretty easily and even slept in. Matt cooked pancakes and eggs on the stove in the morning. Him and I even enjoyed a cup of coffee. Some of you may think this isn't camping.....and it probably isn't.......but we sure had fun 'roughing it' for a night! :)
