Lily's 1st Tee-Ball game

We are now a Tee-Ball family!  Lily started on Tuesday.  The games/practices are in Doniphan by all the ball fields.  I am excited for her to interact with kids that might be in her kindergarten class.  Matt was out of town, so Hudson and I were Lily's cheerleaders.  It was sooooo cold!

Lily's first time at bat!  We practiced hitting off the tee at home, so I was nervous for her to bat off of a pitch!

She did great!!!!!

Her coach is so positive!  I think she is a great fit for Lily!

This picture cracks me up.  This little boy was the one that batted.  He ran to his own ball and was throwing it to get himself out at 1st.  Lily ran up to it and didn't quite understand why he was getting the ball.  I love watching kids learn how to play for the first time.

But, she hit the ball on the first pitch!  Way to go girl!

I could hear this little boy tell her..."Good job."  It was cute because she was sooo proud of herself!

**Since it has been so cold her last two games have been cancelled.  Geez, what is up with this Spring weather?!

When we were in Omaha, we got Lily a tee, balls, bat, and a glove!  Luckily it was somewhat nice out to practice!

Fun with the DeBergs

On Saturday we went to Omaha to see Jessica, Scott, Landon, and her baby belly.  Matt and I wanted to go to the Furniture Mart to pick out some new furniture.  The DeBergs offered to keep the kids while we do that, and oh my!  That was so much easier! :)

We found what we wanted, but we are waiting until the Berkshire/Hathaway Shareholders meeting to buy them.  Once we found our new mattress and bedroom set, I can't wait to have them!!!!  I will definitely post pictures of our new purchases when we get them (May!).  

Lily had so much fun with Landon and Hudson did great.  We then had them to our hotel for pizza and swim time.  I think we will stay in this hotel again because of the awesome pool!  Lily could touch everywhere and there was fun stuff to do that kept her entertained!

Finally!  She was so proud of herself! 

Thank you for a fun weekend!  We are so excited to meet baby DeBerg!  About 4 more weeks!  :)

11 months!

Hudson is 11 months!!!!

*He is always trying to push things around the house or walk around them.

*Does "more" in sign language a lot.  Can do "please" but not as much.

*Talks and sings in his crib.

*Likes to put things into drawers or take them out of drawers.

*Hugs stuffed animals and Lily's American girl (we call her his girlfriend).

*Can climb up stairs.

*Can turn around to go down stairs on his tummy.

*When on the couch he knows to turn around to get off.

*Loves to knock down anything you are trying to build.

*He points to things.

*He likes to wave to people.

I knew he was not going to want me to take pictures, so he did some playing first.

He was not a fan of the basket this time!

I kept trying to lay him down..........he was not having it!

Then, I tried the basket again!

Just look at that face!  :(  Its like I am torturing him.

So, I gave up, but I did try the next day!

Still not a big fan!  But....you can see how big he is getting....he barely fits!

As you can see, he has a hammer.  Lately, Hudson has really enjoyed his hammer.  Then, we found Lily's hammer from when she was a baby. :)

We didn't think anything of him walking around with the hammers until we heard glass breaking!

Yes, he shattered Aunt Emily's senior picture.  I guess that is something we are going to have to move out of his reach too! :)  We now call him Wreck it Ralph!!!

I can't believe he is almost one!  I am finally starting to think about his birthday....I feel like he should still be a baby.  It seems like yesterday that I was enjoying my days home with him and Lily!
