When I heard about the Kidney run in Kearney I thought, "perfect!!!" Virgie signed up right away and we were happy to join her. My cousin's husband was one of the people that were organizing it and Julie was Virgie's donor so they are directly affected by it. :) I had never done a color run and this was a cold one!

He did so good.
We were literally the last people to cross.
He was so excited to run his first 5K and was soon exhausted. He was begging to be carried and stopped a few times. And that is why we were last. ha ha
What a fun morning for a great cause! I just love the name of it too: Share a Spare! ha ha
Virg and Lily had extra color and Lily got Virgie with a cheap shot.

Maybe this will be another annual run we attend for a cause that hits close to home. :)
