Widdowson Christmas 2016

It's the wonderful time of year!  

On the 23rd, we went to Motor Inn (adults and Beckett).  We played some Keno and pickle cards but didn't want anything.  :(

I had Lily and Hudson open up one gift that night because Sydney got matching jammies with Lily.  We stayed at Grandma and Grandpa's that night.

Hudson needed to do a breathing treatment and he was worried that they would all be playing with out him.  They sat by him until he was done.  I love how all these cousins treat each other.  My kids are so lucky to have them.

Lily and Grandma had made gingerbread cookies so the kids decorated them.

Watching Home Alone.

John, Laurie, and the boys had a gift for Hud that they couldn't wait to give him.  So, they had him sit on the rock with his eyes closed.  

This dirt bike was Maverick, Mullen, and Maguire's when they were little boys.  In fact, Mullen even broke his arm on it.  When I asked Hudson, "Whose was this?"  He said, "Mully."  

He was speechless, but you could tell he was excited!

They told Hudson he has to share with Lily and Beckett and then he gives it back to them.

This helmet belonged to Mullen.

What a sweet gift.

Hudson took it for a spin with help from Uncle John, Daddy, Maverick, and Maguire.

After the church service, we went to sing to Mullen.  The wind kept blowing out our candles, but there were a couple we left there that stayed lit.  Merry Christmas Mully!  We love you.

We got back and the kids played while we opened our gifts.  This year we did something different.  Girls bought for girls and guys for guys.  We were to get them something that was our favorite.  I got the girls Australia licorice and comfy pants from VS.  Matt got the guys his favorite underwear and socks.  :)

I snuck the pink nightie John got me last year into a bag and said it was from Mom.  John was a good sport and even modeled it.  ha ha

Hud couldn't stay awake any longer.

We had them all in their jammies so we could put them into bed.  Santa doesn't come if you aren't sleeping!!!!  They were exhausted.
