Great Wolf Lodge (Mullen's B-day celebration)

Last year the whole Widdowson family went to KC and stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge for Mullen's 8th birthday. We went again this year to celebrate Mullen's birthday. We all wish he could have been with us. I bet he was smiling down from Heaven.

I had just started my first day of school (meetings) and then Matt, Lily, and I were off.

Aunt Gigi had called while she was driving and Lily wanted to visit. She is doing a fine job keeping a conversation with people on the phone. She even thinks the people can see what she is doing on her side of the phone. In this picture she is showing Gigi her purse full of toys.

When we got to KC, everyone was having supper at the T-Rex restaurant.

The kids slept with Gma and Gpa again this year (Lily got to sleep with the big cousins this year). The rest of us had our own room too. The kids got up early and wanted to go swimming. Us parents were a little slower getting around and missed breakfast.

On Saturday night, Gma stayed with the kids and we went out to eat. When we came back, most of them went to the arcade. Fun fun!

Sunday morning, missed breakfast again!!! Lily and I went swimming again.

We had fun that morning going down the slide over and over and over again, until she got in trouble. The lifeguard blew her whistle at Matt and Lily. Funny huh, since she is only 1! She was not supposed to go on her tummy and that is all she seemed to want to do. So, the lifeguard said she couldn't go on it anymore. Hmmm, okay! We went and played H-O-R-S-E with Mav and Gigi.

Before we left the Hotel, all the kids got tattoos again.
