On Friday, my friend Micaela got married to Mike in Nehawka at a winery.  Matt had Friday off and I was able to leave my teacher work day a little early.  My sister picked up the kids and had them for the weekend.  I got us a hotel room at our favorite hotel (we love the breakfast!).  

We had to get a pic together before the big night.  Then a school bus picked us up from the hotel to take us to the wedding.  It was about 45 minutes away.

The ceremony was beautiful!  It was outside (so a little chilly) and the meal was delicious.

On Saturday we ate our wonderful breakfast, and then we went to the Horseshoe.  We hadn't been there in a long time.  I love to play Roulette.  I always bet on our birthdays and anniversary: 2, 4, 6, 16, 17.  17 has always been my favorite.  Long story short, I won $260!!!  It was fun!  We then ate sushi downtown, yum!  Matt and I had a great couple days together.  Thank you for a fun time Matt! :)

Picking up Pipe!

Over the weekend when Matt was gone, we got to hang out with my family.  Dad still had pipe to pick up, so we had a great afternoon after the game picking up pipe.  Virgie and her friend, Jake, did most of the heavy lifting (they wouldn't let me!) and I kept the pipe organized, ha ha!  Lily and Hudson helped Grandpa drive. :)

The show must go on though!  We were able to get it all picked up!  

Matt getting prepared

Matt left for his annual Elk Hunt today.  So, this past weekend he was getting his hunting gear ready.  He is also trying to prepare himself for carrying his gear up the mountain.  He thought Hudson would weigh about the same as his gear.  ha ha! :)

Rash

After Hudson's fever on Saturday, he got a rash.  It wasn't bad at first, but by Monday, the rash looked terrible.  When I picked him up from Heather I took him to Urgent Care.  He was ornery when we were there.  He tells me "NO!" all the time.  Urgh!  He definitely didn't want his picture taken.  These were the best I could get.  ha ah

Two doctors looked at him and they had to look at their Dermatology book, but finally decided he just had a Viral rash.  I didn't like the answer, but there was nothing we could do.  He didn't have a fever and he wasn't itching the rash.  Today, the rash is gone and he is in a much better mood.

He is still telling me (yelling, I mean) "No!" all the time!  I shouldn't have taught him that word. ha ha!

Lily is a Ruby cheerleader!

Saturday was a busy day for us!  Lily has had Ruby Cheerleader practice every Wednesday after school.  Miss Sherri comes to D-T school and teaches the girls there.  It is fun for her and convenient for me. :)  This Saturday, Lily had 3 performance.  Woah, right?!

We were at the Harvest of Harmony parade at 9:00.  We waited awhile and it was really cold!  Poor Lily was freezing.  Hudson was snug as a bug!

I didn't notice then, but I can tell in this picture that Hudson isn't feeling well.  He had a pretty rough night and weekend.

At 2:30 we had another parade in Doniphan for the Fall Festival!

They had a supper at the old gym.  We didn't stay long because Hudson felt like he had a fever and he was getting fussy.  We went home for a little bit and then Lily and I came back to the gym for her 3rd performance!

Fun with the Leths

These nice days have been wonderful!  It is fun to step out of your garage and then your friends come over.  Lily and Hudson absolutely love their friend time!

I am not ready for cold weather!  Being cooped inside with kids......hmm, there is only so much you can do!
