I am Done!!!!

I can finally say that I am done with my Masters!!!!!  On Wednesday I drove to Fremont after school for my presentation at 5:00.  I had done my project on having primary students self-assess and goal set to improve their writing.  I presented to my professors, a professor in the English department, and my sister Eliza.  She wanted to see what I have been working on!  :)  There was talk about having me do some polishing of the project so that I can publish it.  Wow, huh?!?  At this point, I am just glad to be done and I probably won't work on it right now. ha ha!

I graduate from Midland University on May 26th!!!

I am excited for everything this May has to offer me!

Baby bump pics #7

Weeks 37, 38, and 39!!!

We get to meet our son or daughter in just a few days!!  It is so hard to believe that this weekend is our last weekend as a family of 3.  This pregnancy has been good and I have so enjoyed feeling the little one move.  I do think it moves soooo much more than Lily did these last few weeks.

When talking to the doctor, she does not think the baby is in the 9 pound range, but I am not going to hold my breath! :)  Everything is going well and I am making good progress.  I do hope I can go into labor on my own,  but I am just so excited that the time is near! :)

Stay tuned for Baby News!!

Swimming and Beth's bachelorette party

My friend, Beth, gets married today (April 28th)!  I went to her Bachelorette party last weekend in Omaha.  Because I am close to having #2 ha ha, I took Matt and Lily with me.  Lily was sooooo excited because she was going to get to swim.  We stayed at the Regency by Cabela's, so Daddy was happy too!

I think this is the cutest picture.  Don't they look a lot alike?

She loves this!

I did bring my suit, but I don't think anyone wanted to see me!  :)  The Bachelorette party was in the same hotel.  So, I got my 'little black dress' on and joined the party.  It was so great to see Beth and all the girls.  At one point we all lived together.  I miss those days!!!  I love how we can catch up quickly like no time has went by.

I miss you girls!

Beth getting ready to go out to the bars.  I skipped out on this part of the night.  It sounds like they had a super time.

Congratulations Beth!!!!

Tom Boy!

Lily and Matt had a whole day planned for a week.  They were going to go down to the cabin and cut trees.  Now, my little girl loves finger nail polish, purple lipstick, skirts, tights, dance, make-up, and many more girly things, but........she loves to hang out with her Daddy!  She got dressed up in warm attire, but she did say:  "Mommy I don't even look cute."  ha ha.  Matt and Lily drove the jeep there in the rain and cut down some trees.  They got stuck and I had to pick them up because the clutch went out.

My little girly girl even had two ticks on her.  Yuck!

I am glad she can be girly with me and then get dirty with Daddy!

Baby Braxton Boslau

My good friend Asia had her baby boy on April 7th!

Braxton Owen Boslau!
7 lbs. 10 oz

Yay!! Another little boy to add to the bunch.

We went and visited after they got home.  He is a cutie.  Lily was very interested but wanted to play with Ady more.  She is starting to think boys can be pretty cute too. So, she is starting to come around.  :)

Congratulations Boslau family!!!!

Easter

On the Saturday before Easter, we went to the Horse Races.  One of the races is dedicated to my Mom's Uncle Spud, so we joined the Shafer family at the races.  It was fun to see the Ganz family and bet on the ponies.  Matt and Maverick got real lucky and brought home some $$, but no one else was too lucky.

Lily and Augusta had a great time together.  They went in the jump house many times and loved cheering for the horses.

On Sunday morning, the Easter bunny hid Lily's Easter basket.  She found it under the end table.  :)

He brought her a hat to wear when hunting with Daddy, flash light, kite, baseball glove, Brain Quest, and candy.

We went to Gibbon for church with my family (minus the Ferzelys).  Then, all of us visited Mully.  It was a beautiful day!  We had a great Easter lunch at mom and dad's.  Pastor Matt and his wife along with 2 other couples came for the lunch as well.  It was a nice day.

The kids then hunted for eggs.

Lily found the big prize $5 dollar egg. :)

So excited for baby!!! (baby bump pics #6)

Lily and I had fun taking pictures!!!  It is hard to believe we will get to meet baby Elsbury in 4 weeks!!!  It seems like just yesterday we were telling our family that we were expecting.

On Thursday, the preggo chicks at Newell finally took a group photo because one of us is going to haver her baby with in days!!!  Asia is due on Monday (9th), so she made Thursday her last day.  Lucky duck gets to meet her little boy soon!!!  Well, we should have lined up in the opposite order, but here ya go:
Hayley- May 9   Me - May 3  Jackie - May 1   Asia - April 9

So many babies!!!!  All three of them know what they are having, so it was a little hard for me not to find out, but I am glad we didn't.  4 more weeks and we will know!!!

More baby belly pictures!  I feel big, but actually I think I am smaller than I was with Lily.  Let's hope that means that this baby will be smaller.  ha ha!  I bet its because I am smarter about eating and getting more activity into my day.  Let's not get crazy, I am not working out, but I don't think I am as much of a couch potato this time around.

Daddy and Lily

Lily still loves to ride with Daddy on the lawn mower.  I wonder what she's going to do when the baby wants to ride??

Doniphan Easter Egg Hunt

We also got to take our first Jeep ride this season!  The weather was soooo beautiful! :)
