Happy Halloween!!!

I have not posted in a long time. OOooops. First of all, I didn't send a

Happy Birthday!!! shout out to Eliza on October 19th!!!!

Happy belated Birthday Liza Jane! Eliza and her family are moving today to a rental house while they wait for their new house to get finished. I hope you are all having fun!!!

Also, since my last post, my mom had a common surgery and she is now recovering at home and doing fine. We even got to watch the Husker game at the hospital. :)

Lily and I have now went to three Kindermusik classes at the YWCA. It is so much fun to watch her interact with other kids. She really has music in her bones!!!! :)

Last weekend, I had a great time with the ladies I work with. We celebrated Joni's birthday by taking out a Limo and then meeting up at a bar that had a band playing all night.

We are very excited to take Lily (our rockstar) out trick or treating tonight. She had a Halloween party at Daycare yesterday too!

Back to normal

Matt got back on Friday!!! Lily and I were so happy to see him. He did not get an Elk, but he did see wildlife. He says he had fun, but he missed us. :) Of course!!

So, our life is back to normal. It is nice when Daddy can entertain Lily while I get report cards done or just relax. He had to take her in the jeep a few times (she absolutely loves that thing!). It also helps to have two parents here when we are trying to potty train her. Sometimes she will go for him, but refuse to go for me and vise-versa.

We got her "rockstar" Halloween costume in the mail yesterday. She looks so cool in it. You will have to wait until Halloween to see it! I couldn't resist getting her a costume that fulfills her love for music. :)

Matt and I enjoyed sitting in our warm living room watching the Huskers play on our new T.V. Too bad the Huskers played poorly. Maybe next time boys! Lily literally slept the first 3 quarters of the game. That is a good little girl!!! :)

SNOW in October!!!

Oh my, Oh my! I can't believe it has already snowed. Lily and I looked out the window this morning and she was confused. "Whats that, whats that? Pretty, mommy." So, she looked out the window by herself and now she knows that it is snow. We didn't play in it today, but maybe next time.

Our sad little jeep. Good thing, Matt and Lily got it ready for the winter a week ago.

Matt called this morning and he just got done climbing the mountain to sit and watch for Elk. There is snow up there too, but he said it was pretty nice out today. Opening day is today for Elk season. I actually wished him luck this year. I don't know what we would do with a ginormous Elk in our house, but he would be so ecstatic if he got one! So, just like I said last year, maybe I will be posting pictures of an Elk soon!



Last weekend, we went to the Harvest of Harmony parade. Lily had a lot of fun dancing to the music from the bands.

With Daddy's help, Oasis joined Lily in her playset!
