Thanksgiving and Husker game

Scott and Eliza hosted Thanksgiving this year.

Eliza, Virgie, and I went Black Friday shopping on Thursday night this time.  The stores were dead and we actually got some deals. :)  It was weird going out on Thanksgiving night.  

Hud slept snuck into our bed. :)

On Friday, some went to the football game in Lincoln and we went to the loft.  Syd came and Gpa and Gma came too. :)

We had a great weekend.  We lost to Iowa in a pretty decent game.  I am glad John and Laurie have the loft.  It is a fun atmosphere and it was warm.  Everyone else at the game was FREEZING!  

First time at Happy Brush!

The Wednesday before Thanksgiving I took the kids to Happy Brush in GI.  I had heard great things about it and had not been there yet.  Lily had went but was excited to go again.  The kids chose what they were going to paint, I had a hard time deciding.

For Oasis's birthday, we got her a pillow and a kennel to put on the deck.

She loved it!  She actually didn't come out of it for a whole day.  Then, the next day when I came back from work, she had the pillow shredded across the whole backyard. :(  She has not went into that kennel since.

~Lily's 8th Birthday!~

Lily had a few celebrations for her birthday!  Lucky girl. :)

First we were at Matt's parents' house because his Uncle Dwaine had passed away.  He had a ranching accident.  :(

We had planned to do Lily's party on Friday, but moved it to Saturday instead.  It worked out just fine.  I got the girls, we ate pizza, then came home and played.

Monday morning was Lily's actual birthday.  She got to pick out one gift before school.  She got a Keep bracelet.  :)

I love you so much Lily.  You are the sweetest girl and we are blessed that God made us your parents.  I am excited to see how your life unfolds.

After school she opened the rest of her presents.

We then went to tour a house we were interested in.  It was up for auction.  It ended up being about twice as much as what we had budgeted.  Lily was a trooper for her birthday and made it through the tour.  :)

She had her eyes set on Red Lobster for supper!  Her favorite!
