Saturday, Lily, Hudson, and I hung out in the morning while Daddy was at the cabin for opening day of deer season. We dropped Hudson off with Grandpa and the boys and picked up Grandma for a pedicure. Aunt Laurie met us there too! It was nice and relaxing and then Lily got to do some shopping with Aunt Laurie.
Our beautiful nails. Lily knew exactly what she wanted. She picked out fall colors and had her put a leaf on her thumbs. She is a girl with style! :)
We picked up her cake and headed to Gma and Gpa's house for the game and to celebrate her birthday. The Huskers played very poor, but oh well. Matt, John, Mav, and Guire were all going hunting again and left in the 3rd quarter. Matt asked Lily to go and of course she wanted to. We had packed all her warm clothes just in case. ;)

She sat in the tree stand like a true hunter. They didn't see anything, but I think she had fun. When they got back in, we ate supper and opened presents.
She got a puppy for her American Girl.

Grandma also hid her money in the living room. Lily found all of them! I can't believe she is 7!

She is such a sweet girl. I am such a lucky mommy to have a daughter like her. She has taught me how to be a mom and how to become a better mom. She works very hard and has a tender heart. She is a wonderful big sister and is a light in our lives. 7 years ago, I couldn't picture how wonderful she would be. We love you Lily Jo!!

We then gave Lily the choice of where to eat. She had 3 top choice: Red Lobster, Taco Bell, and Panera Bread. Interesting, huh?

She had crab and Hudson had shrimp!

We had a good waiter. He really wanted her to feel special. He brought us some dessert and they sang. :)

When we got home, Daddy put her bike together. It was too cold to ride it outside. :( So, it will have to work inside, right?
We put Hudson down for his nap and the three of us cuddled in the basement to watch FROZEN. :) Lily was on cloud nine having the two of us and the movie she has seen like 5 times! ha ha! What a great birthday weekend we had with Lily.
