Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mother's reading this!

I had a great Mother's Day with my family.  I was able to sleep in a little bit...but was woken up because my little kids were too excited to wait anymore. They wanted to give me their gifts.  Lily read the card to me (that was a gift in itself just hearing her read!).  They got me licorice (my fave) and then a beautiful cross necklace with a diamond in the center.

I love it!

There is not better job than being a Mommy!  I couldn't imagine what life would be like with out my two little munchkins.  My heart is just full of love!

My men!

Our Mother's Day selfie! :)

We had a graduation in Kearney at the Starostka lake.  We knew a lot of people there, so it was a good time.

Hudson playing with Brady.  It was really chilly that day.

For our Mothers, I made them monogram door hangers.

I hope they like them!  I also had made one for Lily's teacher for Teacher Appreciation week.

Camping

I am probably going to have a lot of camping posts this summer.  We are enjoying the camper so much!  We went camping on a Friday night at Windmill.  It was a beautiful day!

Saturday morning, we took our time.  We had a wonderful pancake breakfast and then went fishing.

Not really roughing it, ha ha!

We forgot worms, so we used a hot dog as bait.

She is getting really good at casting.

Learning the tricks from Daddy.  This is Hudson's first time fishing.

Hudson doesn't get the concept of fishing.  As you can hear, he says "shoot, shoot, shoot!"  ha ha

Needless to say, we didn't get any fish with our hotdog.

We tried the dock, but no luck there either.

We are excited to go fishing again.  Lily is okay not getting a fish, she says.  She isn't a fan of them jumping and squirming around.

2nd Tooth!

First of all............Holy Cow!  It has been forever since I posted.  May is such a crazy month in teacher world.  I feel like it was one big whirlwind.  Hudson's birthday...Language Arts meetings...Mother's Day....My birthday....5K.....SCHOOL COMING TO A CLOSE!...Two more days of work and then I will take a big huge breath...PHEW!

Lily's other front tooth was really wiggly.  Matt tried to pull it one night, but was unsuccessful.  Lily was then scared to have anyone touch it.  Matt and I both asked her nicely if we could pull it...

It was looking rather silly!

She said I could pull it after school,

Yay!!!!!

Now Daddy and I both have gotten to pull a tooth.  She left it in a glass of water for the tooth fairy.  She came to our house while we were camping! :)

Hudson's 2nd birthday!

On May 4th, Hudson turned 2!  I can't believe he is 2, the year went soo fast.  On Friday, we sent a treat box to daycare for all of Hudson's friends.  He was excited to be handing them out. :)

We invited our families to the party.  It was a busy weekend, so my parents and Aunt Gigi were able to make it.  We had a fun and relaxing day.

We have such a funny boy on our hands.  Of course he did NOT want to wear the hard hat for me.  At least I got a couple good pics. :)

I had fun some great decorations at Hobby Lobby.  I couldn't pass them up.

I had put CAUTION! tape all over the house.

Hudson's cake!

He loved seeing the presents in his pile!  He really loved the Cars and Mickey Mouse wrapping paper.

Let's get this party started!

He wanted to open up one before lunch.

He got a big farm carpet.  They had fun pretending on it.

Enjoying the beautiful weather while Matt grills the steak.

We had a great lunch and then present time!

I love his expression here!  He got a semi truck with a closed in trailer for grain.

Grandma and Grandpa also got him Tractor movies.  He loved them!

A new book bag from Mommy and Daddy

Woo hoo, a boy big wheel!

We got him a Strider bike and Virg found him a helmet.

Always time for a book.

Virgie got her necklace stuck in his helmet.  He was soooo ready to go, so he kept pulling away.  ha ah

My big boy!

races in the house

It was hard for him to be by his cake and not touch it.

Lovin it!

He enjoyed being sung to.

Blowing out candles with Big sis making sure he doesn't get too close. ha ha

High giving Grandpa after getting both candles!

We then went outside to fly Lily's kite.

Thank you to my parents and sister for celebrating with us.  He also got some birthday calls!  He enjoyed being sung to on the phone also!

He was very tired after his party.  We put in one of the tractor movies and he was hooked.  He couldn't keep his head up.  He finally snuggled up to Daddy.

*Lily made him the tie blanket he is sitting with.

This is our very tired TWO YEAR old!

Happy Birthday buddy.  We love you so much!
