Fun in O'Neill

We went up to O'Neill for a weekend because Chantele and Anthony were back from Chicago.  It was nice to relax for a few days.  They all enjoyed seeing Lily and Hudson.

My beauty with her Tigey!!! :)

On Saturday morning we were able to lounge around.  Lily went out to Gpa's garden with him and picked many gourds, pumpkins, beans, and more!

Posing by her neatly sorted vegetables! :)

They kinda look alike! ha ha.  Elsburys must have strong genes.

Matt, Chantele, Anthony, and I went into the Country Club for the football game.  We then hung out that evening by the chiminea.

On Sunday the men did some shooting.

I did too!  I actually got a few. :)

Mark, Anthony, Matt.
Anthony wanted to remember his days in O'Neill.  I hope you enjoyed it Anthony and I hope we see you again soon.

Chantele was there, I just didn't get her in any pics.  Sorry!!

Later, Jackie's sister and husband came.  She put Hudson to sleep, only for a little bit! :)  He didn't want to miss out!

Big boy liking the walker.  Heather says he is in her walker a lot and loves it!!!  In ours, his feet won't even touch the floor.  I can't believe he will be 5 months next week.  Crazy!

Home Sweet Home!!!

I was soo excited to see my babies after being away from them for 3 days!  We went to mom and dad's to get them.  I am so thankful that they were in good hands while we were gone.  It was hard to leave Hudson with him being so young still, but him and I survived!  :)

It was nice that we had time to relax with the kids that afternoon.  Lily wanted to show me a book she made at Preschool.  Hudson likes reading with us too!  Matt heard us and snuck in with a camera.  :)

Hudson's shirt was from Vegas!  He
is a little rocker!

We decided to start Hudson on cereal (September 9th).  He loved it.  It took him awhile to actually ingest it! :)

Love him!!!

VEGAS!!

Matt took my on my birthday trip to VEGAS!!!!!!  We had a lot of fun!  Thi
This is the car we drove all weekend!  Pretty sweet, huh?  A 2013 Ford Mustang convertible. :)

Driving down the strip with   the top down!O

Our first stop was Matt's favorite hamburger joint: In n out Burger!  It was delicious.

We had a nice stroll down the strip in 111 degree weather.  I won't lie, I was really tired and almost fell asleep in a convertible with the top down going to the busiest street ever!!! :)  This mommy was beat!  So, we went back to our hotel (a very nice place by the way!).

This was our swimming pool area.  Isn't it beautiful?!?  Our room was on the 7th floor and our window was pool side.    We enjoyed our stay there and will definitely go back! :)

We saw this in one of the hotels!  They have a Lily flower on each table.  We didn't eat there, but we wanted to get a picture for Lily.

Us!!!  It was fun to spend time with just each other!  We did some walking through some of the casinos.  It was a neat place.

Matt and I before our date!  We went to the steak house at our hotel.  It was very elegant and delicious.  Sorry for the pictures being out of order. But, later you will see a picture of the fireplace from the restaurant.

View from our window!

Our room
On Friday we went to the Hoover Dam.  We took our cute little convertible on the road!  It was neat to see such a huge man made bridge and dam.  We didn't stay there long, but we are glad we went to see it.  Matt thinks I need to teach it to my first graders!!  ha ha

This little tag cracks me up!  It was in our trunk.  I kept thinking about the man in "Hangover".  ha ha!  I have never seen this before, but it is to help people open the trunk from the inside if they are trapped.   ha ha

I am sooooo strong!

One of the hotels.

The next pictures are from my phone.  I don't know why Blogger is being so difficult, but I can't seem to type anyting where I want to. urgh!

First picture:  Matt was sooo excited to bet on the Husker game.  We met a nice guy that explained what it all meant.  Too bad Matt's bet was no good.  :(

Second picture: We found a Husker bar just a few miles from our Hotel.  It was really neat because everyone was originally from Nebraska, visiting from Nebraska, or have some ties to Nebraska and still love the Huskers.  Too bad it wasn't a great game.

Third picture: On Friday we met a nice couple from Pennsylvania.  They were doing good at roulette and we were having fun cheering each other on.  We met up later that night at Minus 5.  Matt had been there before, so I wanted to try it out.  Ben and Katie were a lot of fun and we met some other people from Oklahoma and Australia.  It was a great time!  FREEZING, but fun!!!!

This is me and Katie!  She was fun to hang out with and I hope we can keep in touch!  They have a little boy, so we definitely had mom stories to share! :)
