Halloween 2011

Halloween 2011 was fast approaching.  Lily knew exactly what she wanted to be.  Her and I had found the costume awhile back, but I didn't get it for fear she would change her mind.  But, she didn't.  So, he was thrilled when I came home with her costume one day.  I didn't have students on Halloween, but Lily did have her Halloween party at Heather's.  Halloween is not my favorite holiday, but I love to see Lily so excited.  We decided that we were going to stay in Doniphan this year so that she could experience true trick-or-treating door to door.

Lily got all dressed up and then I put make-up and glitter hair spray in her hair.
SHE IS READY FOR TRICK-OR-TREATING!

We didn't think we would make it to Gma and Gpa's and still be able to trick-or-treat before it got too dark, so Gma came to us!  Isn't this a great picture of Lily the Mermaid and Grandma?  Mom then stayed to hand out candy to our Halloween visitors.

First we hit the houses in our culdesac.  Not many were home, but a good enough start to put a smile on our Mermaid's face.

We soon found Morgan (bumble bee) and Skylar (pumpkin), so they went trick-or-treating with us.

We went to MacKenzie's house and they were just leaving too to go door to door.

Then we found a familiar Fireman (Rylen)!  Aren't they too cute?!?  This will be so much fun every year to go out on the town together!  :)

One of many houses they ran up to!

Morgan and Lily were so much fun to watch.  They ran everywhere, which is hard for  Mermaid!  :O ha ha!    They argued of whose turn it was to ring the doorbell.  By the last few houses, Lily was finally getting good at saying Thank you with out us reminding her.  She would get so excited every time.  We just went to the homes in our neighborhood and then it was so dark.  So, we went back home and relieved my mom.  She said she had about 18 kids, I thought there would have been more.

Then we ended the night with our annual tradition.  We went to Dave and Chris's house in GI.  They had SOOOOO many trick-or-treaters, it was crazy.  Of course Chris had a special treat set aside for Miss Lily.  Then the Baasch's came and the kids played a little.  With school being the next day, we headed home for bed.

Another Halloween was a hit!!!!
