Lily's 5th Birthday

Friday, November 16th, our little lady turned 5 years old!!!

 She got to choose one gift to open on Friday morning.  She got a Barbie Car!!!  The daycare was closed on her birthday, so Grandma Nancy came over to watch the kids.  They had a fun day together.  For lunch, they went to Clarks to eat with Daddy.  Then they came to the school at the end of my school day to see my kids and bring them cookies.

  

My kids absolutely loved seeing Lily and Hudson.  We ate the cookies and danced.  Lily fit right in!  I am proud of how polite my students were.  It is fun to do little things like this with them.  Lily got to see all the kids she hears so much about!  Thank you Mom for bringing them!

After school, we met Matt at FUJI!  This was where Lily wanted to eat her birthday supper!

 

 

Grandma made this crown for her.  She wanted to wear it everywhere so people would know she was 5! :)

If you haven't been to FUJI, you should.  When there is a birthday, they come around with the camera and take your group photo.  You can take the picture home or have them hang it on the wall.  Lily chose to have it put on the wall this time.  So, next time you are there, look for us!!!

Lily's big gift from us was the option to get her ears pierced!  She was excited and didn't hesitate to answer YES!!!

 

 I did not like watching my baby in pain.  The 2nd one was pretty rough.  Tears were rolling down her cheeks.  I am so proud of how brave she was.

When we got home Aunt Eliza, Aunt Virgie, and Sydney were waiting for us.  They spent the night with us.  Lily and Syd had so much fun staying up late, reading, and laying in bed with a flashlight.

I can't believe my little girl is 5!  Time has sure flown by.   She is a whole hand, can you believe it???  Lily has brought so much joy into our lives.  I couldn't imagine my life with out her.  I love you sweet Lily!

Family and Dance

This weekend was opening day for deer hunting.  Chris, Maverick and Maguire came and stayed in the cabin with Matt on Friday night.  On Saturday, we went to Mom and Dad's to watch the game.  They guys came for the first half and then left again to hunt.

They went back out to hunt and stayed in the cabin on Saturday night.  Me and the kids stayed at Mom and Dad's.  Maverick and Maguire ended up getting a young buck on Sunday morning.  

Lily had her dance recital at Fonner Park on Sunday afternoon.

I love watching her dance!  She has so much energy and definitely keeps with the beat.  Her nervous smile and rosy cheeks are adorable! :)

 

Happy Birthday Matt

November 6th was Matt's birthday.  For his birthday he voted for the 1st time!! :)  We gave him his gifts in the morning: two pairs of jeans, a shirt, and a leaf blower.  Matt is so picky about his grass, that I thought this would help him keep it tidy! :)  We don't have leaves and probably won't for quite a while, so this is a grass blower. :)

That night we enjoyed tater tot casserole (Matt's favorite) at home.  Then we sang to daddy, and enjoyed yummy ice cream cake.

6 MONTHS! (can it really be 1/2 a year?)

Oh my, Oh my!  I can't believe my little man is 6 months old already!!!

 

He loves to walk while hold onto his hands.  He spends most of his time in the walker at Heather's.  This might be a sign that he will be on the move at all times!  uh oh

 

 

Its hard to tell how long he's getting because he always scrunches his legs up.  You can tell that his legs are filling out! :) ha ha

She loves even more today than she did the day he was born.  He lights up when he sees her.  I am excited to see them grow up together.

**He tries to grab everything.  We can't really eat with him on our laps anymore. ha ha

**He can sit ALL BY HIMSELF!

**Hudson has cute giggle and a funny 'old man' noise.  ha ha  Hopefully you can hear it sometime.

**He started kicking more in his bath and water flies everywhere.

**No teeth, but srill drooling like crazy!

 

Halloween 2012

Halloween seems to become more fun every year.  Since Halloween was on a Wednesday, we had to come home, eat really quick, and get ready!  I put Lily's hair in curlers.

 She wasn't quite sure about them, but her hair looked adorable.
