Back to School picnic 2013

The Newell staff got together again at Stolley Park to start off the school year.  A lot of families were able to come.  The kids had fun running freely and playing with each other.  The food was great too!

These steps provided a lot of entertainment.

Aubree and Hudson showing some love.

Hudson did not want to sit still.  Ashley and Paisley took him to go play.  I love how Paisley is looking at him!

Again!  ha ha, so cute!

Hudson and Braxton (Hudson looks so ornery here).

Lily was happy to run around free and I always had to try to find her.  I could hear her voice but not see her.  She had fun!

Hudson and Zach.  Hudson likes Zach! :)

What a group!!!  We waited for the train so we could all go at once.  Perfect time for a picture.
They are all looking, but some of the little ones in the back are hard to see.
Landon, Paisley, Will, Jacob, Hayden, Aubree, Monroe, Lily, Hudson, Grace, Adysen, Braxton, Faith,  Miles.

Waiting so patiently for the train!

Clint and Matt with their baby boys.  Clint's wife, Allison, just got a job at Newell and Matt and Clint work together in Clarks.  It will be fun to have them apart of the group.

Train time!

She loves this stuff!

We almost filled the whole train, I think.

Splatts family!  So sweet!

Matt was teaching Hudson how to put his arms up in the tunnel.

Well, two more days of summer and back to the grind stone.  I am sad to see our free days go.  I have really gotten used to drinking coffee in my jammies while I watch the kids play.  :)

Last play date!

We had our last play date at the splash pad in Hastings with Burger King to follow.  Everyone but Shelley was able to come.  It was a fun time once again with these ladies and their children.

It was a little chilly, but the big kids still enjoyed the water.

Hudson, Landon, and Monroe enjoyed watching the machines level the dirt.

Who knew we just needed to take them to a cement slab and they would have had fun?!

A lot of the kids wanted to wonder and do what they wanted.  The playground was calling their name, but its not the best playground.  The mommies would go get them and Hudson kept leaving the group.  He would giggle as he walked away from me.

He managed to not get wet!

The big rock was fun to climb on.

The 6 big kids
Lily, Ady, Jadyn, Will, Paisley, Hayden

Hudson and Braxton trying to get into mischief!

We got the big room at Burger King again.  That makes it so much easier to corral them!

Hudson wanted to be in there so bad, but he was just too small and I didn't want him to get stuck and scared in there.

It is a daily occurrence for Lily to get him out of trouble and carry him to safety!  ha ha

They aren't talking about school..................okay, maybe.

We attempted the group photo again.  This was my best and there is a photo bomber. ha ha!  The babies were hard to get all looking at the same time.

Another picture from another mommy.

Hayden, Aubree, Lily, Hudson, Monroe, Landon, Will, Jacob, Paisley, Jadyn, Brynlee, Adysen, Braxton

Next year we will for sure have one more Dudo! :)

It is hard to believe that our summer play dates are over.  I am looking forward to getting our families together during the school year.

*Thank you Erin and Megan for a couple pics. :)

Sleepover

Lily was unable to go to Ady's birthday party, so we took her gift over to her house.  While there, the girls wanted to keep playing together.  So, we invited her over for a sleepover.

Dress up!  Then they even sang and danced for me. :)

Riding the four wheeler with Tyce.

She loved it and didn't want to stop.

They watched a movie on the living room floor with popcorn.  Then they slept in Lily's bed.  I had to go in there once to tell them to try to shut their eyes.  I could hear their talking/singing on Hudson's monitor.  They were just so excited to have a sleepover that they didn't realize they should be sleeping.

In the morning they watched cartoons.  Hudson wanted the attention and squeezed himself in the middle.

Tea party!

We then took Ady home that morning.  It was a great sleepover! :)  Thank you for coming over Adysen!

Vacation Bible School

Lily attended VBS at the United Methodist Church again this summer.  It was two hours in the evenings from Sunday-Thursday.  She enjoyed it and we got to see their program on Thursday night.

Daddy had to entertain this crazy man the whole time.

Lily absolutely loves singing and especially when there are actions.  Great job LILY!

Neighbor fun

Krystal, Holly, and I took our kids to Party Hut the other day and then ate at Subway together.  Have I said before that I like living my teachers?  ha ha

Not a fan of the bounce houses.

He was always wanting to walk off.  He would rather fake play all the games.

Hudson really likes Holly. :)

Lily and Morgan liked getting their picture taken.

Most of the kids enjoyed the Toddler area that day.

Skylar giving Hudson a little boost. :)

Hudson went on the slide all by himself.

Cute!

I attempted a group picture.
Kendall, Morgan, Lily, Hudson, Skylar.  (Reece was with his mommy.)

I tried another one...it is difficult to get all of them to look and sit.

That afternoon, Hudson found the broom and walked everywhere with it.  I love this picture because there could be so many captions.
"Finally I got done!"
"These workers are messy!"
"Mom, can I be done now?"

Enjoying popsicles.  This was before Hudson tripped on his own feet and scraped his nose and forehead.

Still cute with scrapes!  ha ha!
