Elsbury Clan: October 2016

Harvest time!

I love Harvest time. I do not like that the daylight is shorter and we can't spend more time in the field with Grandpa. I took the kids out an afternoon after school. We got to spend an hour or so in the field. They were on the Hahn's field so Grandpa was in the tractor. We brought out treats for all of them and us of course!!!

Virgie's benefit

Many people lined up a benefit for my sister, Virgie, at the Gibbon Baptist Church. There were many people at the service and then stayed for the benefit following with a sloppy joe meal. It was amazing how many people came to support her.

In the back of the sanctuary was the silent auction items. Then there were more items being auctioned off in the front.

The church was definitely filling up!

We went to the barn after and had pizza and some family time with our Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

Hudson went down the bridge slope on his Strider with out our permission. He came back crying and all scraped up. He crashed and obviously landed on his face. He also said his teeth were loose. We looked and sure enough one was chipped and another was loose. Oh my.....this kid!! It could have been a lot worse.

It was a beautiful month of weather and my last month of maternity leave. :(

The Barn Festival in Hastings. It was a Friday afternoon and sooooo many people were there. Do these ladies not work?!? They were probably thinking the same of me. ha ha

I was in line forever!

People were parking everywhere. I had Beckett's stroller, but I couldn't take it into the buildings, so I carried his seat. Talk about crowded. :) I love all the stuff there and the day was awesome!
