Mullen is now a precious angel watching us from our Father's house. He is playing football and fishing with his grandparents in heaven. Mully passed away on September 29th at 11:24 am at home with his mommy, daddy, Mav and Guire, Grandpa, and Grandma.
I miss him so much and look forward to the day that I will see him again. He will be greatly missed here, but we know that he is in an awesome place. He does not have to deal with a brain tumor anymore and he can do all the things he has ever dreamed of and more.
I love you Mullen John!!! Kisses to you and give kisses to our loved ones.

Mullen John
We left Grand Island on Friday, September 19th to go out and see Mullen. Mullen was still talking with us and even giggled a few times at the babies. He is so strong and we were blessed to spend time with him that weekend. I got to ride next to Mully on the way to Mav's game. He was a trooper. He even played thumb war with Eliza. He has taught us in these last few months to enjoy each moment we have with our loved ones. Mullen is the little boy that always wears his emotions on his sleeve. I loved laying with Mullen in his bed holding his hand. He is my cuddler. These last few weeks it has been hard to see Mullen not get to play with his brothers.
As I am writing this, Mullen is sleeping sound. Hospice came today and was able to give him some medicine to help him rest. I pray that God takes care of our Mully! I am so selfish and would rather have Mullen stay here with us, but I know he has a great journey ahead of him.
This is the guitar we gave Mully for his birthday. Laurie did a great job playing while the rest of us sang. Matt played for Mullen later that day. Mullen thought a drummer might know more about a guitar than any of us girls.
Maverick's football game.

Another First for Lily. Stairs!
Lily and Matt got sleepy while I was working up at the school.
Oasis loves to go out to the cabin and deer stand.
Matt goes out to the deer stand almost every two weeks to feed his deer. He also has a camera set up and we get to see what "visitors" he gets. There were more deer this time, but little ones.

Family weekend in Lincoln
John, Laurie, and the boys were in Lincoln for the Husker game, so we took that opportunity to see them. Mullen's health is not well and Matt and I want to be with him as much as we can. He was a good sport the whole weekend. He absolutely loves Sydney and Lily and always asks to hold them and play with them. The Widdowson clan and the Hedricks were fortunate to get a few hotel rooms that were connected, so we were able to sleep in close quarters and hang out as a family. It makes me feel better to be with my family during this hard time. Mullen is being so strong. I continue to pray for Mullen and for God to wrap his arms around him and his brothers.
**Side note: Lily is pulling herself up now and I believe she can say what a dog says, "woof."
Lily laid next to Mully for almost 45 minutes. She was tired, but didn't want to miss out. She played with Mullen's face, pulled his ears and tried to give him her binky. It was cute.

Story time with Aunt Liza.
Aunt Laurlie and Mullen put Lily to sleep. This was so precious.
Mullen rubbed her belly the whole time.

While Lily was relaxing, Sydney was entertaining us all. She had the giggles!
Mully is a baby magnet.

Mullen
Mullen is in need of extra prayers!!! I pray that God will wrap his arms around Mullen and make him feel safe. I pray that He be with John, Laurie, and the boys to give them love and support and a shoulder to cry on. Mullen is our miracle and he has been so strong. I pray that he continues to persevere!
We love you Mullen!

Labor Day weekend
Lily took a bath and was falling asleep as I was drying her off. I got her clothes on and started combing her hair and she was out for the count on her changing table. Isn't that adorable?
Matt and I went down south to put corn in his feeder and look at his deer cam then we went to Kearney. We stopped by to visit Gpa and Gma and played some cards with them. Lily was trying to help Gpa and I as we beat Daddy and Gma.
Lily finally went to sleep snuggling up with Gma.
I like videos. I think they are so neat. Lily is just learning so much: crawling, sharing, clapping, imitating some sounds, and pulling her self up.
