Matt's Gibbon Triathlon

On September 12th, Matt participated in the 1st Gibbon Triathlon.  He was so excited to do this and had even swam and biked many miles in preparation.  I think he is now hooked.  He wants to do more.  My parents' church put on the triathlon.  They had it at Windmill state park.

After the Husker game, we headed to North Bend to Shannon's in-law's house.  We had fun with my college friends on the lake.

We were the only ones that spent the night, but it was fun.  We hung out late (we are too old to stay up late!) and then relaxed in the morning.  Thanks Shan for having all of us out!

Kids' first Husker game

We got the opportunity to buy 4 tickets to the game and got a tailgating spot for our camper.  It was a beautiful day and we had a wonderful time!

We wanted Hud to take a small nap in the camper and he wouldn't.  Literally 10 minutes before we wanted to start walking to the stadium, he fell asleep. :)

I thought this picture would be of us winning, but it is actually almost the very second we lost.  :(  This was the start to our losing streak in the last seconds of the game.  :(

It was nice to come back to the camper, hang out, watch a movie, and sleep.  :)  Mornings in the camper will always be fond memories of mine. :)

I take Lily into Little Miracles and I come back in the car and this is what Hudson is doing.  This is him hiding.  So, for about 2-5 minutes I am playing along.  "Where could he be?  Did I leave him at home?  Is he at the gas station?"  He just giggles! :)
