Christmas Eve with the Widdowsons ~2012~

On Christmas Eve morning we headed out to Gma & Gpa's for breakfast.  Everyone was there and ready for us.  There were many gifts under the tree and wonderful treats to eat.  It was nice to relax and play with everyone.  I missed the shopping with my sisters and Dad, but they got me a beautiful white coat.  Thank you!

Matt loves to wrestle the boys.....I think they enjoy it too! :)  I am sure it gets harder as they get older and stronger.  :)

The ladies getting out of the way.  Those boys are rough!

plank on Uncle Matt

Hudson gets roughed up too!  He actually liked it.

Grandma had a game in store for all of us.  She split us into teams and gave us shaving cream and a Santa hat.  We were to make one person into the best Santa we could in 5 minutes.  Maguire was my partner.  We hid in the pantry.  I put shaving cream as a beard/mustache, filled his shirt with a pillow and gave him a red bag (full of food from pantry).  I would say he looked pretty good.

Syd makes a good Santa too

Aunt Eliza even put shaving cream on Maverick's hair!

Grandpa did Lily, she wasn't too sure about it until she saw everyone else.

ha ha ha ha, Matt was the only adult that became Santa!  Here, he just noticed that we all dressed up the kid, ha ha!  I literally laugh out loud every time I think of it.  :)  He says he didn't know thats what everyone was doing, ha ha!

 Priceless!!!!
Later, Uncle Matt did the shaving cream to Delanie. :)

Now she likes it!

Pretty comfy over there.

We played around and then we played our annual BINGO game.

This is a first!  Someone won fingernail polish in BINGO, so Uncle John painted the girls' nails.

Time to open gifts!!!

After the kids were done with presents, they played while  we opened our gifts.  Another great year of gifts!  Thank you!!!

We then had a wonderful mushroom steak supper with mashed potatoes.  Yum, yum!  Then we all got ready and went to visit Mully at the cemetery.  It was so cold and windy, so our candles wouldn't stay lit, except for ONE!  We miss you Mullen!

Then we went to the Christmas Eve service at church.  The little girls sat up with Grandma the whole time.  It was a nice service.

Merry Christmas from the Widdowson family!!!

Elsbury Christmas 2012

We went up to O'Neill on Friday night to celebrate with the Elsburys.  In the morning, we hung out and shortly after the DeBergs came!  We were missing Chantele since she was in Chicago.

An attempt to nap.....didn't work so well! :)

Hudson really liked Bella.

Hudson really likes Uncle Scott too.  He was so comfy with him.....

He fell asleep.  Hudson rarely does this, so it was so sweet.

Aunt Jessica and Hudson, she was teaching him how to open a present.

Hmmmm.....now I can play with them?  He has been hearing "No" so many times lately, that he was almost afraid to touch them.

So ready to open!

First Christmas

Cousins!

He loved his car.  He actually got two, ha!

We got Jackie, Jessica, and Chantele a pampered chef chopper.

Grandpa Mark made Hudson a rocking horse!  He used the pattern from my mom's horse.  It's perfect!

Her remote (merote is what Lily calls it), was a hit!  There were 3 cars going at once at this Christmas!

He loves his train.

3 Generations

We ended the night driving around looking at lights.  We miss Grandma Darla....that used to be the tradition of visiting her.

In the morning we played with toys and said goodbyes.

They had so much fun with this foam.  They were very imaginative with it.  Jackie left to take Emily to the airport.  She was going to spend Christmas with Chantele.  Matt and Mark left to go hunting with the Heiss brothers.  Jessica, Scott, and Landon left for home.  That left me and the kids.......nothing too exciting, but we were able to relax.

We had a wonderful Christmas in O'Neill!
