Wonderful Sunday

Our mommy playdate was very relaxing.  Asia lined up pedicures/manicures for us this time.  We had a great time.  I think we were there a long time and I even left the earliest.  Thanks for a great afternoon ladies!

Sunday was absolutely beautiful.  It was in the 60s in January!  That is crazy!  When I got home Lily was begging to go on a bike ride.  She even wrote us a letter at school asking us to go on a bike ride.  So, we did!  In January!

Our first bike ride when she was actually riding with out training wheels.

My attempt to a picture while biking, ha ha.  All 4 of us are in it…Lily is trailing behind.

Showing off her light up wheels!

The sunset was very pretty that evening too!

We are spoiled to have that type of weather in January.  It is crazy that tomorrow, Lily has a 10am start because of the cold temps tomorrow.  Just 3 days later and it is crazy cold!  Gotta love Nebraska!

We have our hands full!

Oh my!  I kept talking with him so I could get it on film.  He doesn't do this with Matt, so I wanted proof!  Geez!

Pizza, Bingo, Popcorn!

On Thursday, Doniphan-Trumbull elementary hosted a Bingo night.  I was a little surprised since I only heard about it that day.   Geez, talk about short notice.  But, the event was actually packed.  We got pizza and then they passed out popcorn while we played Bingo.  Lily played bingo with her friends in the bleachers while Hudson and I sat with the Yosts and Leths.  Matt was in Texas, so he missed it.  We had a great time and can't wait to do it again!

Weekend pics

Lily's trick on her trampoline.  She is quite daring and went up to the 7th step, yikes!

We got our keys to the camper so we could go see it again and make a shopping list!  The kids loved running end to end.

They will love their bunk beds.

Our kitchen!  Now to get stuff to fill it.  I am sure we will forget stuff the first few times camping…but we are anxious to figure it all out!

It was dark in the storage unit, so we were looking by flashlight.

How many Elsburys can we get into the bathroom?

Hudson will learn really quick that he CAN'T touch the stove.

We Face Timed Gig and the Ferzely kids!  That was fun!

How many fingers does Lily have?

Newell Bowling Night

On a Friday night, the Newell PTA set up a bowling night.  When we got there ALL of the lanes were full of Newell families.  That was so great to see!  Although, because the lanes were full, we didn't get to bowl.  The Baasch's were there and let Lily jump in.  She loved it and loved hanging out with Gracie!

We definitely need to go again!  A lot of the teachers were there too.  Hudson even bummed pizza off of the Runcies.  ha ha!  It was neat to see a few of my students there.  They had a lot of fun!

~Lily~ 74 months! :)

Lily is such a joy!  She is the sweetest little girl!

*She is learning how to read.  We read her homework words and books and she gets on RAZ kids.
*At a restaurant or during breakfast, her and I write notes to each other.
*She can sound out words
*Loves to get Hudson out of bed and get him his milk.  They snuggle on the couch together.
*She is the BEST big sister.  She genuinely cares for him and takes care of him.
*She will randomly give me and Matt hugs and kisses (and of course Hudson!)
*She is responsible.  Remembers homework, chores, and things I tell her to remind me. :)
*Still loves breakfast food the most!  *Loves leggings and work out clothes.
*She actually enjoys cleaning.  She is more of a deep cleaner like her Daddy.
*Is making good friends.  *Likes to play games on iPad.
*She loves to play outside…riding four wheeler, bike, scooter  *Loves to swim
*She is a little performer.  *Good at art (and enjoys it a lot!)
*She is shy around others.  We see a different Lily at home than I think others see.
*She is a good mommy to her American Girl, Caroline!   *Is learning how to add numbers together.
*She can write a sentence with capital letter at the beginning and punctuation at the end.
*She is getting so tall and skinny ninny!  *She will hug, hold, kiss, or whisper to Hudson all day if she could!  *Loves watching movies  *Excited to go camping…she probably brings it up once a week.

So much to say about my sweet girl and I am still thinking of things.  What a girl!

Bringing in the NEW YEAR! 2014

Last year, us four went to Kearney and stayed in a hotel.  My family always did this growing up, so I am glad we had some friends that were up for the idea this year.  Erin and Zach got a hotel room with us at the Holiday Inn in Grand Island.  It was a lot of fun and more of our friends came to hang out with us.  The Eickhoffs and Barnetts came and all the kids went swimming.  Later we saw a few more of our friends, it was fun!

Happy 2014 from our family!

Lily and Hudson absolutely loved the water!

The crew minus the Daddies.  Hudson is outnumbered in this group.  He didn't care.

Great friends!

It was fun watching Hudson and Brynlee.  He was very friendly.

Megan was trying to get a picture of her girls and Hudson ran over to be in the picture.  What a cheese ball! :)

Got to have footy jammies to be in this group. :)

These night owls are still up!

Sparkling grape juice at midnight!

Happy New Year!!!

I can't wait to do this again next year!

*Thanks to Erin and Megan for the pictures!
